Mille Miglia Programme May 13 – 17, 2009

WEDNESDAY 13th OF  MAY
9.00 a.m.

Cars brought to the Fiera di Brescia (Brescia Trade Fair). Welcome coffee, administrative and technical checks, assignation of event numbers, distribution of road books. Night-time security surveillance of the cars and parking of trailers and transportation trucks inside the Fiera.
5.00 p.m. Holy Mass in the Duomo Vecchio, Piazza Paolo VI.
9.00 p.m. Gala dinner (to be booked separately, not included in the hospitality package).

THURSDAY 14th OF MAY
7.30 a.m.
1.00 p.m.

Cars brought to the Fiera di Brescia. Welcome coffee, administrative and technical checks, assignation of event numbers and road books.
Parking of trailers and transportation trucks inside the Fiera.
8.30 a.m.
3.30 p.m.		 Cars entered head for Piazza della Loggia for the sealing.
8.30 a.m.
12.00 noon 		Cars presented to the public in Piazza della Loggia.
7.00 a.m.
3.30 p.m. 		Cars exhibited in piazzas and specially designated areas of the city centre.
10.00 a.m. Blessing of a representative of the cars in Piazza Paolo VI.
5.30 p.m.
8.30 p.m.		 Buffet dinner at the Mille Miglia Museum in Brescia.
7.45 p.m. Start of the first car from Viale Venezia for the first leg  “Brescia – Ferrara” and presentation of the cars to the public.

midnight

Arrival of the first car in the centre of Ferrara. Presentation to the public. Placement of the cars in Corso della Giovecca. Shuttle service to the hotels. Welcome snack in hotel rooms with appetizer and fruit. Overnight stay.

FRIDAY 15th OF MAY
6.30 a.m.
10.00 a.m.		 Shuttle service from the hotels to the parking area reserved for Mille Miglia cars.
7.30 a.m. Start of the first car from Ferrara for the “Ferrara – Roma” leg.
12.30 p.m.
3.40 p.m.		 Buffet lunch in Sansepolcro (AR).
8.30 p.m.

Arrival of the first car in Rome (Saxa Rubra).
On-stage parade of cars to present them to the public in Castel Sant’Angelo.
Cars parked overnight in the Villa Borghese secure car park.
Shuttle services to the hotels.

Buffet dinner in the hotels and overnight stay.

SATURDAY 16th OF MAY
5.00 a.m.
8.30 a.m.		 Shuttle service from the hotels to the Villa Borghese car park.
6.30 a.m. Start of the first car from Rome for the third leg: Rome – Brescia.
12.10 a.m.
3.30 p.m. 		Buffet lunch in Monteriggioni (SI)
10.50 p.m
1.30 a.m.

Arrival of the first car in the centre of Brescia.
Presentation of the cars to the public in Viale Venezia.    

Buffet dinner in the hotels and overnight stay.
Placement of the cars in the secure areas of the Fiera di Brescia.

SUNDAY 17th OF MAY
11.00 a.m.

Shuttle service from the hotels to the Teatro Grande.
Award Ceremony.
1.30 p.m.

Shuttle service to the Mille Miglia Museum.
Aperitif and farewell lunch in Brescia.
