Cars permitted to take part in the event will be vehicles that havecompeted in, or completed registration for, at least one of the original Mille Miglia races (1927-1957), as well as other exemplars of the same make and model.
The preliminary list provided is limited to acknowledged car manufacturers. The list will be updated from time to time on the official website www.1000miglia.eu The model names, references and displacements are based on published catalogues.
For models whose category was changed before their production was terminated - though not due to substantial modifications, but because of changing regulations governing motor sport at the time - the category which they currently belong to has been used to assign the coefficient.
For cars in categories VU, T and GT, no mechanical or bodywork changes will be permitted if documentation is not made available to prove that these changes were made at the time of the entry or participation of the specific car and chassis number in the original Mille Miglia.
The list does not include most of those Italian and French one-off “specials” which competed in the Mille Miglia at the time. Any listing of these would be imprecise as to the cars’ specifications and characteristics and would therefore be incomplete and arbitrary. Applicants submitting these cars for acceptance must provide complete documentation, proving the participation of the car or its entry in one of the 24 original Mille Miglia races.
Similar documentation must be provided by applicants for all other models not included in the list.
